What are Digital X-Rays?
Digital dental x-rays use a small amount of radiation to help in diagnosing certain introral problems. Decay, infections and impacted teeth can all be seen with a digital x-ray. The image is important in your preventative care, as it helps us to identify problems that might go undetected without their help. Digital x-rays are easy to take and are safe for patients of all ages.
Why would you need Digital X-Rays?
Digital x-rays are required at most of your appointments. We will take x-rays before each bi-annual appointment in our office. For emergency visits, we’ll need to take an x-ray to determine the root cause of the problem. It’s important to have a full set of x-rays taken every few years as part of your oral health care.
